The Working-Times agent estimates how many working minutes a normally qualified construction team will need for each priced item of a tender. It runs once for the entire document rather than once per item, so it can compare similar items against one another and keep the estimates consistent.
If two items have the same description and unit, the agent uses the same productivity per unit for both and scales each total based on its own quantity. If it deliberately estimates two similar items differently, it explains the reason in its rationale.
Open the "Working Times" column group in the Document Workbench and use the agent icon in the group's header. This opens a dialog in which you can do the following:
Start a run
Track progress as the agent works through the tender
Cancel a run in progress
Re-run a run that failed or completed with gaps
The dialog also shows the run summary and a log of the steps performed, similar to the other document import agents.
Each item shows its estimated total working minutes. All estimates are rounded to whole or half minutes, for example 8.0 or 8.5, never to a finer breakdown.
If the agent is not fully certain about an estimate, the item shows a short keyword naming the issue, for example "quantity unclear." Hovering over or opening the item displays the full rationale for the value. Confident estimates (a plausible reading or one supported by the tender text) show no keyword.
You can manually override the working time of any item. Manual changes are also saved in increments of whole or half minutes and are marked as a manual source, so they will not be overwritten by a later agent run unless you re-run the agent for that item.
The agent reads only the tender document: its structure, item descriptions, quantities, and units. It does not use supplier quotes, product catalogs, or pricing data, and it does not change your organization's learning feedback or time catalogs.
